It shouldn't but if it does it'll just be a tad. Run a benchmark at 4.0 then run it at 4.2 or so.

2 5970's on a 21" monitor?

mhm, ill try that.

I'm waiting for 2 21.5" to come in for eye finity. Have my comp contected to my 65" hitachi 1080p in my living room as well

Hyper-Threading. Yes, the 860 has it. Not sure it will actually make a difference though.

On games it wouldn't, but with other "thread-heavy" programs it can improve it by a longshot.
