Hehe Thanks for talking in 3rd person!

Well, im pretty satisfied with my stuff now, what i really wanted was the 2,4 GHz really, so ...

NVM!!!!

THanks for the help

You're losing performance because when you up the FSB, your board is automatically putting your ram on a divider or loosening the timings to a ridiculous level. You need to set EVERYTHING manually.

Mr. Scott is correct.

I can vouch for that happening with my stuff if I don't set everything manually and even then it will change things some of the time, esp the RAM divider used.
My Asus and DFI's will do this sometimes - Annoying but I deal with it when it happens.

I was suspecting that

SO i have to set my FSB back to 200... check my settings, set it to 220 again and then restore the settings which is changed ?

He needs to drop a few dollars and he said he is not willing to do that. If he wants to play extremely demanding games he needs to do better than a little overclock on a 6 year old processor.
ok there philly boy... i still have the chip... lid off and everything. later on today ill put in in my board and post som cpuz @3025.... maybe even more, because the board that i used to achieve those speeds was an asus m2a-vm.
PLUS it was the stock AIR cooler. so maybe i will get a bit more with my ga-ma785gm-us2h with a Corsair A50... IDK. so no. I am not mistaken about the chip i STILL HAVE.

Sounds good. I'd like to see 3GHz stable on stock voltage from a 4200+, because it would be the world's first ever I think.

Yeah drop it back down to 220 and keep it at stock volts. Some mobos just weren't made for it. Of course you could try to bump it up a good bit like to say, 230 or 235 FSB and see if you are just hitting a "hole" with it. Hell, I had an Opteron one time that was 100% stable at 2.6GHz, but at 2.4 - 2.5GHz it would crash no matter what.

On a side note, have you tried overclocking your graphics card? I'm sure there is someone around who can help you with it.
