yeah, that quote is partially crap though.

BC2 is a sequel to you guessed it bc1. Guess what it plays like........You guessed it bad company 2.

The devs keep stating over and over that bc2 is not part of the traditional battlefield series. The focus is on smaller infantry oriented battles. while the traditional battlefield games are focused on larger vehicle oriented battles on large maps, with a couple of smaller infantry focused maps.

I would like to point this out though. The most popular maps from both bf2 and bf2142 are the infantry focused maps. karkand, mashtuur, and a couple others, and the same goes for 2142. The infantry focus maps get the most play and dominate the play charts.

So if dice looks at what the consumer is doing, they noticed that the game focused on that, and they decided to make a game going that style. Then they get yelled at by the minority for making a spinoff of what was the most popular maps.

Personally i hated the small infantry focused maps. Dragon valley was probably my favorite map ever, kubra dam was 2nd.

Wow, guess what OP? It's NOT a big deal. Chill out, it's just a game.
lots of things are just games, yet we get excited or defensive about them. Look at sports. teams have rapid fans that attack other people, or yell at other teams fans. Hell, they dont even have anything to do with the team and they get all excited. So i thinks its slightly more legit for him to point out the facts. Competition is in our genes, its in every aspect of our lives, Every ASPECT.

I love how my post was deleted from this thread, when it broke absolutely no rules.
