I have that memory and I don't use XMP because it limits my overclocks at 7-7-7-20. If I put it at manual, I can get it around 1600-1650mhz stable with timings set at auto 9-9-9-24 and a BCLK of 205. About as high as it will go stable on my machine. Haven't tried taking the heat spreaders off to see if it would go higher. My experience is RAM stays cooler without heatspreaders lol.

This memory gets a 7.7 in WEI stock or XMP, stock is 1066mhz, XMP is 1333mhz. Gets 7.9 overclocked to 1600mhz.
