time for a upgrade since '06 but no idea whic vid card to get :(

Thread Starter
So in my sig is my latest upgrade... New mobo, ram and cpu.

The onboard GPU is ok for WOW and cs:s but i want something i can run wow on great settings with...

Im thinking of spending under $100 for a video card but have no idea what to get.

I plan on buying a 1080p monitor and using my 19' view sonic as a secondary or maybe the primary and play my games on the better monitor..whenever i get money for it

So what do you guys recommend?

I use my pc for watching movies, tv shows gaming (not the newest games but i'd like to be able to run some of them at decent fps) and web browsing

thanks in advance

Get a GTS450, or buy a used GTX460 768Mb, you should play WoW fine on high settings with those (Except for the Shadows, ofc).

GTX460/HD5850 are great cards, if you can afford them(and if your power supply can power them)

Or a HD 5770 if you are on a tight budget, great card that can play most of my games maxed out (Except the new/very graphically demanding ones)
