what comes up on the link you gave me is what the .sys file does- that's mission critical.

What you've posted on CCleaner's disabler is going to be the iastoricon - aka think CCC for your GPU. iastoricon is CCC for the southbridge

Its not needed, but it can aid in configuring (IE turning on write back caching on your RAID 0 array )

edit: why is what i quoted different than what you posted lol
its cos i edited the link I thought I posted it wrong

so disable the intel one and enable the CCC and it will all be ok?

Disabling CCC is fine, and recommended if you use AB or Riva to set clocks, as it will intermittently interefere with fan speed and clock speeds. You can still manually start it if need be.

OK i just ran 2 reboots and timed them with boottimer app, I had:

Avast
Intel one
Realtek audio
Sidebar

Boot time = 18.0 secs

Then with same but added CCC --> boot time 44 secs ***?

Edit: I havent OCed my card (yet) but I have a fan controller attached to it anyway... dunno whether to keep CCC imo. I will probably get Afterburner or whats it called....overdrive?

get rid of CCC if your profiles load fine without it, get something else to control the GPU's clocks/fan (as suggested riva or something)

IMO thats normal, and what you see in terms of "Radeon software isn't as good". Nvidia's does the same thing, just isn't as bad. my pc boots in bout 22 seconds, but I haven't disabled anything yet

Nice boot time
and yeah I built this system with a blank check I went for the items that would mean i dont have to touch my pc for the longest time. I think last time it was opened was back in April to swap the SSD's to bigger ones.. everything else as been steady, thankfully my overclock is holding 4400 and my GPUs (surprisingly) haven't crapped out yet

well, what I would suggest is disable everything and see if something doesnt work, and start turning on the related items to fix it.. on my last install thats what I did to get a 15 second boot time.. that was a lot of work tho I also stripped windows core processes out and stuff
