"Black Water" Storm Sniper Water Cooling Build -56kers Beware- - Page 11

Not only you've done a top spec build you've done real well with the taking photo's side of it too...
Real tidy water cooled build if ever iv seen one no doubt and that shelf is bang in the right place getting all show in it's pride of place...

Just an idea... under the shelf fan cut out... maybe you could use some mesh or even one of those 120mm black metal filter jobs...

Anyway you do right putting this up for MOTM as you have and maybe my vote is up for change..

Thanks for sharing this with us cool.gif

Thanks for the kind comments. I knew nothing about taking pictures until I joined OCN and started to look at people's build logs. My wife has a SLR camera and after seeing the amazing builds here at OCN and the awesome pictures of them taken by the members I started to get the itch to build a custom rig and take good pictures of it along the way. I researched/studied proper picture taking and put what I learned to use when I built my rig. I have learned ALOT.

I don't think I will put a screen or fan filter under there, it's high enough off the ground that I am not worried about anyones little fingers getting into it.

That is what I was going for, ty. I wanted a build that did not stand out (I don't like bling and muti-colored fanciness). I wanted something that looked simple, powerful, and minimalistic all at the same time. cheers.gif

OK.... now I am done. Promise.

I sold my i7 950, sabertooth x58, xms3 ram and the rasa cpu block. Replaced it with a 2600k (5ghz 24/7 stable, folding like a champ biggrin.gif), msi p67a gd 55, some corsair vengeance ram, and a EK supreme HF CU nickle plated CPU block.

I had to move my rs240 to the top of the case (had some clearance issues with the new motherboard), but other than that it all stayed the same.
