First happy 2011 to everyone!
and sorry for my bad english, I come from belgium and just 15 years old

I've already read a lot on this forum and you people always say that the max temp for de cpu 55c is. If the temp gets higher that you get instability but can someone give me a reason or something else why there is intability than.
Already thanks for your comments

When a CPU reaches its threshold, it will be internally programmed to slow down performance to avoid frying itself. All CPUs have various threshold levels, some are 60 and some are 70 or more. Ideally, you want a lower CPU temp to prolong the life of the CPU as more heat/voltage will shorten its life. To be on the safe side, many people recommend around or below 55 for optimal performance.
