still don't understand

something to think about before spending more money and splitting the loop

being he has blackice GTX radiators... i think he would benefit more from higher speed fans and if fan speed and noise is an issue then maybe a push/pull config would be better than splitting the loop... 1200-1500rpm just isn't enough for those radiators due to high fin count... the black ice gtx models tend to take off around 1800Rpm

Branfb you might try remounting your block i know i had a tough time getting a good mount that gave me good temps my loop is cpu and gpu gpu never passes 40c on core and vrms range from 40-60 depending on voltages to it. Heres a screen shot of my temps in ibt/linx at 4300 with ht and 1.35 vcore.

What fans are on your rad and do they have good static presure ?

not sure if you're asking me...
but can't really compare temps W3550>i7>i5 in stock core TDP

to answer your original question... yes your temps are very high for you W3550 processor.. intel specs say max of 67.9c which you're surpassing by quite a bit

and for comparison sake and totally unrelated due to processor differences
my wonkey loop order is(take a deep breath)
res>res>pump>360rad>gpu1>gpu2>res>pump>120rad>hdd> hdd>hdd>res>pump>240rad>cpu>res>res>pump>120rad>4x mem>full MB block

room at 28c
inside case temp 33c (yes makes a difference since my 360 is exhausting)
both 120's are push pull, 240 has a single push and 1 push pull both push sides has TFC shrouds, 360 exhaust pull

maybe bad TIM application or cpu mount... but his processor does put out a lot of heat 130w + 215w for the gpu... total 345w not including the pump... even then the 2 radiators should handle the heat output with his current fans

*edit
after putting his cpu parameters into extreme psu calc he ends up with a 219w heat output... that thing is just as toasty as his video card at stock settings... now the fans seem like they might not be enough

total heat output from parts
cpu = 219w
GTX470 = 215w
MCP655 = 24w
total heat put into loop = 458w

best case scenerio
at 1000rpm 10c deltaT
PA 360 will dissipate 275w
GTX 240 will dissipate 165w
Total Heat Dissipation = 440w

no deals.. not enough fan speed or radiators... something needs to be done... even if the loop was split we still don't have enough fan speed or radiator coverage... more of a fan speed issue

best case scenerio
at 1500rmp 10c deltaT
PA 360 will dissipate 445w
GTX 240 will dissipate 330w
total dissipated heat = 775w

more than enough too cool his setup....
solution keep fans at high speed

So... yeah..
i git ourselves in a confusion

Current build/loop:

Rad (PA120.3) > combined res pump (EK DCP4) > Cpu Block > Gpu Block > Rad

currently mcp655 and gtx240 are not in the loop
they are sitting outside waiting to be clean and put in work.

Fans are @1200 for the PA120.3 - i though that thermochill rads are the same at whatever speed - yes, if increase will be better, but they are not slowing down with slow-mid fans. /pressure of the fans are around 80-90cfm/

I guess I'll make some push-pull for the PA120.3 with 3 more Aerocool Sharks /they are same as Scythe GTs but a little noise @full speed but got more air through them/

and then i will check again temps.
and probably will add the pump + rad

into:

res>pumpDCP4>rad360>cpu>mcp655>rad240>gpu>

from the calculations and graph posted above you can see your current loop doesn't have enough raddage especially with 1200rpm fans... i would turn down the overclock until you can properly cool
