Any Silent, Blue Backlit Mechanical keyboards? - Page 2

I think the new Razer keyboard is mechanic. But I'm not sure if it's good.

You must mean the Razer Black Widow Ultimate. Yes, it is a mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX Blue switches and Buy has it for $103.24, which is the lowest I have seen and it looks like a great deal for a gaming mechanical keyboard for that price. It even beats out other mechanical keyboards in price except for the regular Black Widow.

How loud are the MX Blues? I mean are they as loud as my G15 is currently?

I can't find any information on the U9BL-S. What exactly does the S stand for?

the blues are moderate. ive got the xarmor UB9L or whatever with the mx blues and to me its a little louder than some laptop keyboards. definitely a little more noisy than your membrane keyboard but once you adjust to the tactile feel it becomes a bit more quieter when the switches aren't bottoming out.

Imagine pen clicks, but a smidgen louder.

The S stands for silent. It will be a revised version of the U9BL with MX browns.

Kind of like Das keyboards advertising their keyboards for being silent. Going to be doing a review of other XArmor keyboards Phaedreus2129? I still have the discount code you have given me, but I would like to hear reviews on them if XArmor is going to give you review samples.

I may just need to wait for the U9BL-S then

So January release? What do you think MSRP would be?

I've got a Deck Legend Ice with Cherry MX Black switches, and the keys themselves are completely silent. However, I tend to bottom out every keystroke when I'm typing, and that makes a lot of noise. Still, it's a great keyboard and depending on your typing style, you might be able to type completely silently.

Also, my Deck Legend Fire will be here in a few days! I've been waiting for about a month.

Conflict of interest. I'm doing product testing for them now, and giving distillations of community input. In return I get final samples of the products for free. So that's a vested interest in the products and company, so I can't do an honest review of any of their products or their competition.

I thought one of the signature qualities of a mechanical keyboard was the sound the keys made when you hit them... so having one that is near silent wouldn't truly be a mechanical keyboard then would it?
