With something like Megahalems or Venomous-X you might get temp drops like that but your Noctua is built for low speed fans, it has a very low fins per inch ratio.

Sure, they may be silent, but thats because they do nothing.

54 CFM for 1300 RPM is actually good and the noise output at this speed is impressive. They work fine on less dense heat sinks but indeed they are way overpriced. I only use one as an exhaust fan for another PC. If they were $15 they would be nice.

You will get a little temp change but something with more fins would get a much bigger change.

lol p12-1300 moves 92,3 m³/h, and they are pretty silent on 1300RPM and you know what?you will have them at least 4-5y and be as good as new..

these fans are made for noctua coolers which have more space between fins and for silent PC...
I have D14 fans at 800RPM and max temp is 55C with BOINC, if i have them on 1300RPM I have 48C...tell me why in the hell I would need 1800RPM fan moving at least 3x time more air? and same is for at leas 95% of people here.

My friend had in HAF932 CM,magma, scythe all over 1600RPM and he told me he has silent PC...he came over to me and he was shocked that he cant hear my PC, he asked me what fans I have, yes I have noctua all <800RPM and he couldnt believe that I had almost same temps as he had.

Noctua fans are the bomb.

What more can you want, 54 odd cfm, 6 year warranty (no fuss), if you need other parts just provide proof of purchase.

I love these fans with a passion, yeah sure there are better out there but these provide the complete package.

Yes they are designed more for their own Noctua coolers but I think that they are some of the best fans quality wise.

Thanks, I'm well aware what they do. I have owned both the 120mm version and 140mm version of the NF-P series. IMO they still arent worth the money.
