What do the SMART attributes show after the format? Has the raw read error rate changed, and has there been any increase in reallocated sector count, current pending sector or offline uncorrectable?

i dont know, as ive formatted the disk i believe i will need to reinstall windows to view the smart attributes, i dont believe there was ever any values for reallocated or pending etc. i will reinstall windows and keep an eye on the raw read, hopefully that wont continue to increase. from what ive read all hdd's have errors but most when manufactured are formatted so that those blocks are ignored, maybe my drive didnt have that process done to it. so as long as i get no more bad blocks spring up it should be ok?

Yes it's probably ok now as long as those raw read errors don't start climbing up again.
