Which CPU Cooler for 980x Overclock on EVGA SLI3 Board?

Hi guys-

I'm not looking to go too ridiculous on the overclock (4.0GHz) on my new 980x processor so I would like to stick with an Air Cooler, but I have also seen those Corsair H70 and H50 Watercoolers. Which would you guys recommend on a EVGA SLI3 Motherboard with the Taller Patriot Viper RAM Modules? I really like the Noctura D14 and Thermalright Silver Arrow, but I don't think I could get them to fit with how high my RAM sits (the heat sinks on the Viper modules cannot be unscrewed like the Corsair Dominators either). This computer is going to be run 24/7 and its main purpose is h264 Video Encoding so it is running at 100% CPU all day long. I need a cooler that I do not have to maintain either. I'm not sure how the Corsair H50/70's go as far as maintenance? Also, I really need something that will fit with my motherboard (EVGA SLI3), RAM (Patriot Viper Series), and case (Antec Nine Hundred).

I recommend the scythe mugen 2 or the hyper212+. both are good coolers and both are very affordable

The stock 980x cooler is pretty beefy.
Managed to overclock my 980x to 4.0ghz with 1.33vcore and never saw anything higher than 82C with prime95 6hrs stable.

If not, I recommend the Silver arrow. That is the cooler I will be upgrading very soon.

Get the Mugen 2(also pick up 3 or 4 fans for it if possible), the D14, a Silver Arrow, or an H70.

These look like pretty good coolers, but are they the best? I want the best and money is not really an object.. Anything in the $100 or less range.

I really don't want to stick with the stock cooler. I'm scared that the Silver Arrow will not fit with my RAM. I was thinking about ordering the Silver Arrow and taking the front fan off and moving it to the back by the rear exhaust fan in the Antec 900 case. What do you think? My RAM is definitely too high though to fit this cooler I believe.

My RAM is on the NOT compatible list for this cooler or else it would be my number one choice. I wonder if any one has gotten it to work by adjust the fan bracket far up in the air?

Again, a Mugen 2 with 3 or 4 Ultra Kazes would work and be right around $110.
