JonnyGURU is Reviewing the Corsair CX430! - Page 6

400cx is better than 430cx. its voltage is just inflated. realistically speaking can u guarantee the temp to stay below 30 degrees always? and further at 40 degrees its efficiency plummets.
also on JG he himself commented that the efficiency was mediocre

Wow, a more expensive product is better? Who would'a thunk it!

Realistically speaking can you guarantee that your rig continuously draws exactly the maximum that the CX430 can output?

PSUs can handle higher temperatures than they are "rated" at. They just don't put out as much power, or as quality power, that's all. This PSU won't just magically explode at 40°C.

ROFL everyone jumped on the bandwagon and ripped this psu...

Clearly not a top end efficient PSU... but it certainly seems to do what it says it does.
Sweet. I've been using these in the past 4 workstation PC's I have been building for the office and was planning on using more till I saw everyone bashing them. Good to know I made a decent decision. It's a good PSU for the $.

If it costs less, that's because Corsair couldn't sell them at normal price. The CX400 is discontinued and being blown out. If you can get them for less (or same) price, then go for it! They won't last forever.

It's fine. It just should have been labeled a 380W is all.
