(Ok, it's not that steep of a curve but it's still difficult for a beginner to get a even decent scores)

I have to say that I don't find TF2 hard, at all, to get decent or even good scores in.

Played it for the first time in my life, well me, my brother and a cousin of ours, on a LAN-party and went toe-to-toe with a bunch of guys that had been playing it for years. And now don't misunderstand me here, they weren't bad, but the game wasn't hard either.

With that said, just give TF2 a second ( maybe third ? ) chance, connect to the right servers, and you'll have hours upon hours of fun with it.

yet another satisfied steam customer. btw valve made steam and that game, double fail. it is an extremely childish game, even more so than WoW. not to mention pretty much every TF2 avid player plays wow as well.

I'm not saying it's hard, I'm just saying that it has a different feel to it (Ok, so i never actually said that haha). It just feels like a non-traditional FPS, and learning each class can take a bit of getting used to.

Steam is a great CMS (Content managment system) it's really convent to open one program and have all of my games in one place, and it's great way to download all my games. I don't see what the problem with valve / steam is. Have you played HL2? CS:S? All made by valve and there all great games.

Well, a competitive TF2 match contains 12 players. 6 players on red and 6 on blue. Just giving the OP a suggestion instead of being bombarded by rockets and bullets as he spawns in large TF2 servers.

Lol used to games with plain guns I'm guessing? Wait till you see broad swords and everything else thrown in there. I think its fun when you want to just play a cartoony violent game, don't take it all that seriously because it's not meant to be like that.

All of my friends that like it are people who aren't really good at normal FPS games. People who suck at Bad Company or Black Ops, I usually find them playing TF2.
Wait..How can you suck at COD?
All it requires is fast reaction speed, xD.

i personally love Team Fortress 2 <3

i need to disagree here, tf2 requires skill as other FPS do. And the one saying that ppl suck in black ops play tf2 -_- no comment. Black ops its a deathmatch just respawn and kill just like that.

The real thing would be those who suck in tf2 play CoD BO

Ye, TF2 requires more skill than BO.
But it still doesn't require a lot...
