To be fair the 6950 CF do very well in some games vs GTX580 SLI but why post that rubbish?

gtx 570 sli power consumption: System Wattage with GPU in FULL Stress = 578W

gtx 580 sli power consumption: System Wattage with GPUs in FULL Stress = 719W

As you can see, the 570's require much less power to run in sli. I have a Corsair 750tx and have zero problems

Also if you look at those reviews and compare the GTX 570 sli vs gtx 580 sli, you can see that there is only an average gain of no more than 10fps (when you're already over 100fps in 99% of games with these cards).

Clearly the GTX570 is the better buy... I would only buy the 580 if you need to feel the ego boost of having the "fastest single gpu card" because you have a small penis. (or you are a benchmark freak)

wick001, + rep for the links (your first!). I have been considering a second GTX570 and was wondering if my PSU could handle it (750HX). I think it can.

To me the GTX570 offers better value. Nothing is futureproof.

Edit, wick001 insulting people who buy the GTX580 is not cool.

GTX570. GTX580 is the card for the present not to wait for the future. You can buy a 500$ to fight a battle you dont know. Get teh 350$ card and have 150$ if for some reason GTX570 cant handle them.

I'm currently running the two 570's with a slight overclock past SC speeds on my HX750. No problems whatsoever and apparently there is a bit of room to spare as well.

I'm not a fan boy, I was just making sure he knew all of his options.

I've owned both ATi and nV cards. IMO nV cards are better simply becuase of drivers at the moment, ATi are picking up their game however.

I saw a review, and I believed it. Perhaps my only fault is that of believing what I see and trusting reviews. I think they were unlocked 6850's anyway.

Boom.
