lol. Common mistake and I'm sure about 90%+ of the people who read the first post thought it was a standoff issue.

Anyway, have you:

1: Checked all your power connections CPU 8 pin, 24 pin mobo, etc?
2: Is all your RAM seated correctly?
3: When it shuts down does it stay in that state for a while before you can get it running again? Is your CPU cooled possibly seated poorly and hence the chip overheating?

lol i took the side back off of my case and as soon i touched the main powerconnector it shut down! then, as soon i touched the case, it turned right back on. i think there is either a wire under the mobo or the 24pin powerconnector has loose wireing. im going to check now.

The answer is obvious; you need to fix your gravity plating.

But seriously, I would try Xeoc's suggestion, along with checking every cable's connection to make sure they are all securely in place.

lol i was reaching for the power button on the mobo when i accedently touched it. (i need better wire managment!)

i guess because i put "as soon as" it made it sound like it was intencional. im really ****in tired right now from last night and meant to only put that before "i touched the case" but my mind was skipping aroung

Just running through a laundry list of typical problems. Can't tell you how many times someone hasn't been watching their temps and its shutting down due to bad cooler seating.

Isn't the wire insulated?
