New Socket Block Kits

Thread Starter
I havent been into watercooling long enough to witness a new socket coming out but i just wanted to know if a conversion kit for blocks like the EK Supreme HF will come out with a new mounting bracket for new sockets like Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge? The same way you order AM3 mounting kits for certain blocks, I'm assuming there will be the same for new sockets, am I right?

IIRC Intel said that LGA 1155 will have the same cooler mounts as LGA 1156 and LGA 2011 the same as LGA 1366.

You may have noticed a thread pretty much on every forum from a guy called Windwithme who got a Sandy Bridge chip to 5Ghz. Anyhow i shot an email off to him and asked how he mounted his cooler.

This was his reply:

"CPU cooler (socket 1156) can use with the new Sandy Bridge socket 1155 "

So you can use current 1156 mounting brackets on the new 1155 socket
