Il be purchasing a Linksys WRT54GL for my sister so she can get her kids consoles / laptops online. Im only here for christmas and il be sending them the router in the mail. Does anyone have a good idea for a guide I can make for them. I want them to have WPA-2, maybe mac filtering, dhcp, nat, ect. dont want other people leaching their internet connection. Im having trouble thinking of a simple way to have them set it up with out much over the phone help from me. If you have an idea or link to a simple step my step guide that would be great.

Thanks

I don't know of a guide but I do have another suggestion, you could quickly talk them though enabling remote management and set it up for them, then just have them disable it.

Arent manuals suppose to be for these audiences? The manual should suffice IMO, or just do teamviewer, Thats n00b proof.

Well now, that is a great idea lol. Honestly should have thought of that... Only thing left to do is telling them howto setup the consoles/laptops but thats a walk in the park. Thanks for the reminder Taylorsci
