For GTX460, perhaps the best overclocker is Galaxy's newly released Hall of Fame edition, currently selling ~US$240 (equivalent) in Asia here. The high price does not come from its pretty and unique white PCB but many Galaxy enchancements. Its default core clock is 850MHz
(vs Nvidia's reference 675MHz) and memory clock at 1000MHz. It is perhaps the best out of the box air-cooled GTX460 performer around?
(A little review here shows that it can be OC'ed up to 950MHz core/ 1050MHz memory with its stock air-cooler with the stock voltage of 1.087v without any modding. Quite impressive.)
(1.18v for 1000MHz core and 1175MHz memory)
The downsides are limited availability (mainly in Asia and Europe) and its high price.Edited by windfire - 1/2/11 at 12:16am
