Reinstall is definitely the best option. Disconnect your HD's if you do. Then just hook them back up after Win 7 is installed on the SSD.

My advice is to reinstall clean, however you can use Paragon Backup and Recovery 10.1 Free.

Does partition level backup and restores.

Reinstal is recommended.

Since a HDD usually uses IDE mode and a SSD wants AHCI for better operation.

When you change the mode to AHCI in the bios windows 7 installs will fail to boot due to the IDE drivers that are installed.
