old 9600gt

Thread Starter
yo guys,
i recently put in an old 9600gt while i try to sell my 5770's.
why wasn't this card popular?
it's got enough power to be playing all the newest games i have apart from metro 2033, fallout nv works good, black ops is running good on it. i think this is an excellent card for it's age i recommend this to anyone building an ultra cheap rig.

The 9800 GT probably got all the attention and didn't cost that much more at the time.

The 9600gt is still an awesome card, plays most modern games without breaking a sweat.

Sli 9600gt still has brilliant performance with more demanding games.
