Is my block moutned bad? - Page 3

I'm having like the same prob. Idling 48c. Ofc the system hasn't been cleaned for a while and I'm not sure what everyone is using to measure screw from top of block distance. I need to take my block to a local hardware store and get something to open it up. ***, I'm so lazy.

^^ i dropped 12 c after cleaning out my block. My buddy cleaned it with a sonic cleaner and it came out nice. Gunk will kill your clocks. Keep it clean.

could you try revsersing the phase?
so cpu out is fed from the pump as opposed to the cpu inlet

Cleaned my block and temps dropped 10c, still sitting at 40c... undesirable but meh. Ima give it time to break in and finish bleeding.

the only thing you really need to clean is the radiator...and that's because I have heard this from a lot of people that the manufacturing is meh with just about all of them.

you probably mounted it wrong or did not add enough or perhaps too much TIM.

All you need is a small pea size in the middle of cpu. About twice the size for the gpu.
