Dont try to speed things up. Let it dry for days...DAYS is the key

LOl iv done stupid things lately and had a few leaks while my system is off and every time had no dead hardware. Lol i havet been thinking like pulling off a tub and it was the wrong one and spilled water all over my board and cpu lol.

Hey, I had a similar issue with my classy recently, though mine was off. I thought for sure the board was dead, and it was doing the exact thing you describe. That means something is still shorting out. What fixed it for me, was reapplying thermal paste on the nb and sb. What I think happened is the paste is applied rather messily, and water seeps in under the chips and doesn't dry out cause of all the excess paste surrounding it. Brought my board back to life, so can't hurt trying that.
