Overclock in Phenom II X4 910e

Thread Starter
So, I'm new here and to overclocking
I bought a new computer and it came with the Phenom II X4 910e processor.
I don't need extra performance right now, but maybe in the future I will, I still have to buy a VGA this month.
So, as you know, the 910e has 2.6Ghz and it's TDP is 65W. I want to know if I can push it to 3.0Ghz or even further without changing the voltage, or the cooling system.
What I want is a basic overclock, how much will I be able to get with these setting?

Keep in mind that my MoBo is a very cheap one (Pcware APM80-D3).

And one last thing, in the BIOS the option "AMD Cool and Quiet" is ON, should I turn it off?

To be honest, I don't think that board will allow you to overclock at all.

and amd cool and quiet sounds like a power saving feature. on if you care about power usage off if you just want speed.

If the board has any OC settings at all, I don't think you will be able to get too far. That motherboard doesn't look like it has any MOSFET/Vreg cooling, so I wouldn't push the voltage far past stock. Turn Cool and Quiet off if you do overclock, it can mess with stability. 3Ghz MIGHT be possible on stock/slight increased voltage/cooling, but don't count on it.
