There are tons of threads and articles scattered around that will help you with OCing your GPU and CPU. However, don't mix that in right now; if anything is done improperly, it'll cause further issues.

Your hardware isn't the issue, neither are your clocks; you've got a rig that can max out WoW no sweat.

It has to be software. Try doing a clean driver install. Use these drivers, and click the clean install option when it's available; it's the 265.90 drivers originally meant for the Quadro line of cards, but is modded to work with Geforce cards. The link leads to the zipped folder in my Google Docs.

Also, open the "Config.W T F" in "...\\World of Warcraft\\W T F" with Notepad and add the line SET gxApi "d3d11" (with quotes) on its own line. That enables DX11 support, and gave me even more frames on my GTX 480.

Hmm...do you get low frame rates with any other game? Need to rule that variable out as well.

Quoted wrong person..

I wouldn't dare touch 265 drivers, esp ones modified to work with Geforce.. Esp the ones linking to your google account.

I still say you need to overclock your cpu...

You probably haven't seen the many threads of people's seeing frame improvement, better load handling, and fixed issues from 265.90.

EDIT: I just noticed your revised post. It does have quirks, so I don't recommend it for just any situation. But it certainly helps in BFBC2 and WoW.

I'm currently at my mom's place, on a stock Celeron and an HD5670; explain to me how I see constant 60fps w/ Vsync at 1680x1050, Ultra settings, and 8x AF. While overclocking that will give him better performance overall, that i3 isn't holding back his system so much that he should be seeing 30fps on the lowest settings.

EDIT: I changed the settings to be fully public. Try this link again.

Oh. And you might want to just try the official Geforce drivers first, instead of mine.

What does your Celeron and HD5670 have to do with 265?

I'll give you that, It did improve frames overall, my benchmarks were all screwed and metro didnt work. My system would freeze every 5 to 10min with your drivers that were linked to your google account. Even after driver sweeper and many other drivers.. It was fubard, cuz of the 265..

OP: Run driver sweeper, and give the 258's driver a run.

also, I opened task manager and it sais firefox.exe *32 and wow.exe*32
does that mean i have the 32 bit version? and i need to download the 64 bit version?
