corsair gs600 another psu thread...

hi guys
firstly happy new year to u all
secondly,i purchased my rig 1 and a half month ago and did not do much enquiry about the psu's but i knew the vx550 was a solid contender but as it turned out it was out of stock on my day of purchase so instead i bought the gs600 psu it looked quite nice(specs wise) it was 80+ efficient and had 48 amps on single 12 v rail...so i picked it up....now my question is ....will this psu be enough for my sig rig(include overclocking cpu+gpu) and i have read that psu can actually provide more wattage than stated although under reduced efficiency...so is it possible for me to do a gtx 460 sli in the future on this psu(i am willing to reduce cpu overclock to 3.5 and also reduce the gpu clocks slightly).....any help would be appreciated....
thnx in advance.......

You'll be fine even after you add a 2nd GTX 460.

Yes a GS600 is enough for two GTX 460's... you don't need to reduce the clocks either, infact you can overclock further.

ok then thnx for all ur inputs but would still like to get some more opinion on this matter...

You're going to be fine, your system won't use 600W real time even with two of those 460s and your CPU overclocked unless you do something hilarious like add fifteen hard drives.
