Ever use the widgets on Windows Vista? Exact same principle.

Yeah I remember those, thanks.

Alright good to know about the apps. Thanks.

Refurbished BB Torch for .01.

Pros
Email
Internet Access
GPS
Wifi
Touchscreen - did not think I was going to like it but I do

Cons
Wish I had switched earlier held onto my RAZR almost 2 years past contractual obligation

Think of them like gadgets on win7. Easy access to certain information right on your homescreen. They make widgets for weather, stocks, calender, just about anything. They also make widgets to do certain functions. For instance, I have a flashlight widget that when pressed, I can turn on the camera's flash led's, all without having to open up an app. They are a more convenient and efficient way to perform tasks on your phone.

Thanks for the tips about cheaper smartphones too.
Were do I start.

Plants vs Zombies
Angry Birds
Moron Test
Dark Nebula 1 + 2
Fruit Ninja
Govenor of Poker
Cut the Rope
Doodle Jump
Doodle God

and a whole lot more.

I also have an app on my phone that tracks all of my work outs at the gym, shows me my progress on a bar chart to see whether I have stalled and need to change techniques, it also transfers it to PDF format to be viewed on my PC.

With a jailborken iPhone I have a weather system on my lockscreen and I have a twitter feed that updates every hour that I use to follow MMA fighter updates. It also loads all of my emails and displays them.

All of these things can be done on Android too. I'm not trying to convince you to get an iPhone, that's your decision. All I will say is that when I had my G1 I was not very impressed at all in regards to it being a gaming platform, the GUI on most of the games was very poor and finding a good game was few and far between. I'm sure someone will come in here and flame me for that comment though.

I love how I can access the internet, emails, and twitter through my HD2.

Also it's pretty good for watching videos on.

Alright final question for me, thanks again for all the information,

Is there any reason to wait for a little while before purchasing one? Are there any awesome phones coming out that are worth holding out for?
