I had a dead-on-arrival PNY GeForce 8800 GTS and PNY tried to tell me my power supply was bad, which it wasn't. I didn't have a spare for testing so I took a friend's car battery and hooked up my graphics card to it to prove my power supply wasn't the issue. (I didn't tell PNY it was a car battery, I just told them I borrowed a good power supply from a friend.)

Back in the 5.25" disk days I used to take my operating system disk to school with me because I had all the settings set the way I wanted and didn't want to mess with theirs. Nothing I owned had pockets the disk would fit in so I folded it in half and kept it in my back pocket.
Worked great for months.

Thats how I turn my computer on. Screw wires! XD

Nevay, probley the craziest thing I done was clean my computer (when I had a case) with a leaf blower and cleaned it under running water. Everythings cherry! With 1 exception, I end up bending the HSF with the leaf blower.
