I actually opened the game about an hour ago and let it sit at the server browser (frozen) for about a minute. It then populated and I played the game without issue. No idea as to what would cause this but I'm going to hold on until the next ATi driver release and see what happens then.

I've had experienced short pauses (freezing) in BC2 and Dead Space. Bothcards are actually using their original BIOS at this point (stock clocks), not flashed to 6970s. I'm going to call this a driver issue and wait for a newer release.

Thanks for all the help!

I don't have a link right at the moment, but I've done a lot of reading on the steam forums about this issue as I have horrible crash issues when running crossfire in black ops; it isn't your computer, apparently black ops is very unstable for thousands and thousands of gamers, regardless of computer hardware/drivers.
