Your take on which motherboard

Thread Starter
I'm going to get my parts for my birthday soon, and I have everything picked out already, just need help for my motherboard. I have two right now in mind... 1 2 I chose these two because for the 870 they seemed good, I was looking at the ASUS EVO, but I felt like these were better at least the GIGABYTE.

I would like to stick around with the 870, and around $100. I don't want the 880g chipset because I don't need integrated graphics on it, and because all the ones on Newegg that I like are all Micro ATX and I don't like micro.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Why do you choose 2, and not 1? And also I'm staying with AMD, Intel is too expensive.

I can say I'm really loving my EVO right now. Allows me to overclock super easy and supposedly can get my 1055t to 4.0GHz in no problem. I'd possibly reconsider and maybe get the EVO. If not, go with the Gigabyte motherboard.

Off subject but I noticed you lived in Whitehouse. That's about 20 minutes from where I'm at!

On Topic: I think I will go with the EVO, that was my first choice awhile back any way.

Haha, small world. I see quite a bit of people from around Toledo area. Do you go to Perrysburg?

I would choose GB because they are a very high quality board maker. They are very easy to overclock with. Lots of settings. Quality parts and my favorite part is dual bios. so if you have a bad flash the board wont be bricked. Their boards are also very thick and sturdy for those big coolers.

Would you choose Gigabyte over the ASUS EVO. This gigabyte and this ASUS.
