HDMI front, Realtek rear

Thread Starter
Hello, I'm curently trying to set a pseudo surround system by using HDMI output on HDTV for front speakers, and using a 2-speakers system using mobo onboard output with realtek driver for rear. However, I cant seem to be able to make them both play at once. Is it possible?

You can play from either HDMI or analog ports, you cannot play both at the same time. If your TV have an analog audio out, you can perhaps connect a set of speakers to that to duplicate the sound, but depending on your TV, this may not work.
