No display on start up

Thread Starter
I'm fixing my friends computer and I'm not getting any kind of display on the monitor on start up. It sounds like all the hardware is working, I can heard the hard drive going and the cpu fan works. no issues with ram or it would give beep codes. the GPU is integrated so not sure how i'd test that. I've tried resetting the CMOS battery but that didnt work.

Any suggestions what it could be?

Also the model name of the computer is Acer Aspire AM1100-E1203A

Have a GPU to plug in real quick? If you get a screen you know what's up.

I got a 5770 sitting on my desk but this thing only has a 250 watt PSU with 15 Amps on the +12V rail. I'm thinking that would overload the PSU.
