Thread Starter
Hey,
I Have been wondering what Eyefinity is like in basic applications,
Just send a screen shot or a photo of anything on this list please, or if there is anything you want to add please feel free was looking for them stretched across all screens

1. windows media player - movies and visualisations in music.

2. Google chrome

3. Music editing/creating software

4. other random software and must have/popular apps

Thank you in advanced ,
Gaming96.

Eyefinity is only good in a game, and even then some don't like the effect. For browsing, etc. you probably want to treat them as separate screens.

+1 to the above, eyefinity just treats the 3x screens as 1 screen, so you have 1x screen at 5670x1080 or whatever your res is. for me, i just resize the windows so they fit onto 1 screen, if you fullscreen it, it expands over the whole screen.

i thought thats what would happen when you do that, isent they any way to get it to 'snap' into 1 screen, extra software or anything ?

You can use Hydravision or whatever to designate areas for windows to maximize in, so each screen could be its own program or window.

movies are not that great imho, although gaming I don't notice the bezels, but in movies...they are an absolute eye sore...that's why I have an additional secondary screen for movie watching...

but would I give up my multi-monitor gaming option? um hellz no

or turn the two other screens off and just quickly (2 clicks) disable your display group via CCC..

eyefinity is pretty sweet, i have mine setup since ~ 24 hrs and enjoy the crap out of looking into three screens, takes some getting used to for sure, but its SWEET!
