Currently I have a HK 3490 receiver hooked up to my sound card and the "S/PDIF Pass-through Device" volume was at 100% on default (under volume in the task bar). This means the volume usually sits around -45dB on my receiver for the music to not be too loud, which seems quite low. Should I lower the "S/PDIF Pass-through Device" volume and raise the volume on the receiver for better audio?
