Just need quick help

Thread Starter
New to OC and trying to get to 4.0 (or close to it, as long as its stable). I found a guide that gave some setting for BIOS and tried those, but while running OCCT immediately after the "monitoring for 1 min" I get "failed core" and also get hard freezes. These are my BIOS settings, any help would be greatly appreciated, or at least a point in the right direction.

if the temperatures aren't bad, i'd up the cpu voltage until it doesn't fail occt (as long as you don't take it dangerously high)

Running Prime95 for about 10-15mins the highest it got was 71* but was steady at 69*. Any idea about voltage? Are the RAM settings okay?

Well you're under it's rated speed so I would think so. Give the cpu a bit more juice like the above poster said.

Any ideas as to what voltages I should try, or is it just trial and error?

Trial and error, you want the lowest possible voltage

Maybe some one can help me with this.... These are some settings I found in a thread:

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Problem is, when I try and boot with them I get BSOD error 0x000000FC, ideas on why I get that error?
