cooler master extreme power 500w

Thread Starter
I'm planning on buying a new pc soon, but i'm waiting for sandy bridge to be released... Only problem i have is my power supply, as buying a new one will go out of my budget, and i'll have to cut something out. Currently my cm extreme power 500w is used to supply power to:
MSI P6N SLI v2
Core2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.68GHz
Kingston HyperX DDR2 2x1GB 800MHz
GeForce GTX 260 216sp
2 HDDs
1 CD-R/DVD-R combo

And i'm wondering if it'll be enough for:
MSI iP67A-C45/ASUS P8P67
Core i5 2500(K)/Core i7 2600(K)
Exceleram Rippler 2x2GB 1600MHz
AMD Radeon HD 6870/nVidia GeForce GTX 560(when it's released)
2 HDDs
1 CD-R/DVD-R combo
Basically, those i5/i7 processors should have a lower TDP then Q6600, and HD6870 also has lower TDP when compared to my GTX 260 216sp. I've also read some leaked info that GTX 560 should have TDP of 180W which should be exactly the same as GTX 260. I fail to see how 500W can't be enough for a pc with even lower TDP, or am i doing something wrong here?

The eXtremePower 500W is a mediocre piece of crap. I can't tell you how mediocre it is since there are like three versions. But they're all fairly poor. It might work for your current system, but is hardly ideal. Replace it when you can, and come here for advice on getting a decent unit.

Currently, i can choose only between AXP Simple Power 630W/750W, Chieftec 600W CFT-600-14CS, and Cooler Master GX 650W...

The CoolerMaster GX unit is a piece of crap too. I've not heard of AXP Simple Power, hard to know what to expect.

The Chieftec looks to be a fairly decent CWT unit, probably a PSH.

The Chieftec is probably the best of the lot.

The AXP we've never heard of, and like Phaedrus says, CM ePP is just crap.

From what i've heard, AXP (XION) is a division of NZXT, and some people told me their PSUs are good. But i'm not really into experimenting, so i'll probably buy Chieftec CFT 600/650W
