Corsair 800/700d Bottom 240 Radiator Question

Thread Starter
I'll be getting my 800d this week, and am going to eventually take out the bottom hard drive cage to stick a 240 rad down there. However, I am away at school at the moment, and do not have access to a dremel. Is it possible to stick that 240 rad down there while not touching the hard drive cage? I know it won't get the best airflow, but it's only temporary for a bit until I go back home. Looks like it might be able to go sideways? The power supply will be an hx850, so it will be slightly shorter than all those 1000w+ power supply's. Or should I just fork out some extra cash and mount it outside of the case. I was checking out this koolance radiator bracket:

Any other suggestions are welcome

I have this same case, and there is no way fitting that 240 radiator without touching the HDD cage. so you need to customize it.

Didn't really think so heh. Is there any way I could take it out with a pair of tin snips? I know I'll have to cut up the hard drive cage itself quite a bit, but that's okay. I can touch it up when I get home.

Funny thing is I just did the hard drive cage removal mod and I'll tell you, you definitely need a Dremel. But once it's out, oh man does it ever look better. I also cut a hole for a 120mm front intake which will be great for air flow
