i3 mini itx - need water block ideas - h55

Thread Starter

I'm trying to overclock my mini-itx tech bench pc to the highest stable clocks and air simply wont cut it so please help me put a water system together.

I have read so much here that my brain can't compile it all and i've even watched the excellent videos on what's best but this little h55 i3 has me scared. Not sure what will fit on these tiny boards, or what works on Zotac H55 itx.

I want to protect for future sandy bridge mini-itx cpu and board with a lot more heat.

water block - ek supreme universal high flow or danger den MC-TDX? so many options - ek the best but no clue if it'll fit or if its ideal.
pump - Innovatek Eheim or maybe swiftech mcp35x? - both recommended here and yes, way way overkill but thats what i am seeking.
rad - Black Ice Xtreme II Dual 120mm?? guessing - focus on pure performance not noise. the 240mm gtx got bad ratings.
fans - two of these bad boyzz - panaflow M1-BX120 x38mm?

future protecting for much hotter chips. Please help before i just get raped by the water cooling sales guy Monday..

I would get the XSPC Rasa RS240 kit for $130. It's easily the best loop you can buy at that price range, and the waterblock will fit onto that motherboard. I don't know what your case situation is like but it comes with a 2 x 120mm radiator so you will most likely have to do some modding or simply mount it outside of the case.

Bitspower Compression fittings for 1/2" ID 3/4" OD Tubing
Bitspower 45 degree rotary adatpers

Thank you, fittings - tube - and adapters - key to bling factor and performance.

: <3 Spider case.

I love being in the small niche of small form factor water cooling.

The biggest problem I have seen with high OC's on the mini-itx boards are not burning up the CPU's but rather burning up the PWM's around the chip itself. I have seen SO many fried boards and that is the problem 90% of the time. If I were you I'd get some copper heatsinks for those and have some ventilation going over them.
