Quick Wireless Question

Thread Starter

I have recently received a Compaq Presario F761US and it has a wireless 802.11b/g card in it, and I would like to upgrade it to a wireless N card. I was wondering if I could use this card?

If not do you know of a card that would work?

I changed the wifi card on my laptop. You need to make sure that a new card is acceptable. Check the manual. It has to be acceptable by the bios to work. That being said also make sure its the same socket type as your current card. Easiest way to know is to look at the card itself or google your specific card to see. Use device manager if you dont know exactly what card is inside.
