Intel Core Duo t2250

Thread Starter
Hey, I'm curious as to if I can overclock an Intel Core Duo t2250. I have a laptop that's about 5 or 6 years old and I'm new to overclocking, I was just looking for a little more performance and a little bit of fun at the same time. I'm not worried about screwing up my laptop, its a Dell Inspiron e1705 and I can get any other information you need off of the computer. Thanks!

Pretty sure name brand computers can not be overclocked.

The companies make them that way so you can't fry them under warranty.

Well if it's a dell you probably won't have any overclocking options in the Bios, and even if you did laptops don't really have the cooling to support overclocking so you would probably fry it.

I'm really not worried about it frying. Plus its basically practice. What else could I do besides the BIOS ?

You can try to google some sort of software to overclock it, but I have never overclocked outside of the Bios and don't even know if there is any software that will work on a dell.
