Mcw80 & xfx 9800gtx+

Does the mcw80 fit on a xfx 9800gtx+?

I've tried searching all the over place, but couldn't find an answer. I have a mcw60 on my 9800gtx+ and it fits perfectly. But the Swiftech 9800 gtx mosfet heatsinks that I purchased didn't fit. It was just a tad too big.

Here is a link to my card, some stats are off like it says its 2x6 pin power, but mines only has 1x6:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-341-_-Product

So, I just wanted to make sure the mcw80 is compatible with my card before I get one.

Well the MCW80 is compatible with G92, 8000, and 9000 series, and the 9800GTX+ is basically an 8800GTS which is G92. I'm 99% sure it'll work out of the box.

Yeah it'll pretty much fit on any Nvidia card, some require a bracket though, 9800GTX+ should be fine without a special one though I believe.

The mcw80 has all the compatibility that the mcw60 had iirc.
