10.10e, 6850CF, lots of problem with BFBC2...

Thread Starter
I'm currently using two Asus 6850 in Crossfire, with AMD's 10.10e driver. No overclock, and it's well within safe temp range. 1920x1200, forgot the AA setting, everything else on high. Monitor connected through HDMI port.

BFBC2 is the game that I play the most, but unfortunately I experienced a lot of problems in BFBC2 with my current setup.

Here's the 3 major problems that happens quite often:
1. Crossfire not working: I'm not talking about jumping back into desktop mode and got your crossfire disabled. Sometimes I started the game from Steam and get into a server, then find out my FPS is extremely poor (in 30-40s). If I go into AMD's driver, disable CF, then re-enable it, restart the game, everything works. This usually happens when I play BC2, exit it, then try to play it again later without restarting the computer.

2. Everything 3D turns into black screen: This happens in the game, and it happens quite often too. When I'm playing the game sometimes, all the 3D part of the screen turns into black and the 2D part(mini map, etc) still works fine. I can still move and shoot and do everything, just that I'm blinded, lol. (I actually have a video of this happening, I'll upload it later)

3. BC2 program randomly exit. This doesn't happen as often as the other problems listed above, but it does happen once a week or so. I start the game/get into a server/server changing level, and suddenly the BC2 program stopped and back into desktop.

I never had any of these 3 problems when I was using 5870, and I did use driver cleaner before I installed 10.10e. I'm just wondering if other 6800 series user have similar problem with BC2.

(btw, how good is the 10.12 driver? does it provide better performance and stability for 6800 series?)
