Nope, it doesn't!

You should do some comparison benchmarks before you sell your Phenom

Awesome nice work. You have a decent chip there. I might work on a stable 5Ghz clock as well. What sort of temps were you getting at that speed?

This is the highest i've got so far. I managed to run Super PI 1M and 32M. Not stable though. And to be honest it was a little too much voltage for my liking.

From what i have seen of some benchmarks for SB compared to AMD, Clarkdale, & Lynfield, theres not much point me upgrading from a Lynfield i7 to a SB i7.

So what would anyone suggest for my upgrade to SB ?

ATM im just in wait and see mode

Like all other 1366 guys, your best bet is to wait for Ivy Bridge, the performance gains are minimal to warrant an upgrade to SB.

Ivy Bridge is just a die shrink of SB. 2011 will come out with sandy bridge chips in another 6+ months.

1366 should skip this gen all together, it almost never worth upgrading from the best last gen to the best next gen, wait for Haswell, whereas I will probably skip it.

IB is much more than a die shrink, we'll see how much the 6-8 core IB processors will be, $500-$1000? SB is still only a Quad Core.

Can't just keep on waiting for next gen, I like the Tocks in Intel's plan, so I'll probably go IB, and then Rockwell in 2013, which is an upgrade every couple years.
