Ram speed make a big difference?

Thread Starter
I recently oc'd my i3 to 4.4ghz through the bios settings.I noticed that this automatically change my default ram frequency of 1333 to 1200. Is this making a huge difference im gaming performance or is it to little of a change to really notice? Is it safe for me to run the ram at a higher frequency? The next frequency it allows me to run it at is about 1488 or something like that.I have been running my ram at the lower 1200 just to be on the safe side...

Keep your current freq of 1200, but lower the timings and you'll be perfect My Kingston got to 1333 @CL7, maybe yours can do better

As for the impact, I haven't made lots of test, mainly because CPU freq is messing with the results Solely lowerting my timings from CL9 to CL7 gave me 100 3DMarks.
