another corsair dominator on 780i ram timing question

Thread Starter
4-4-4-12 @ 800mhz
5-5-5-15 @ 1066mhz

which would u rather go and why?
trying to find for the optimal setup for the set of dominators i just got.

i can maybe up the voltage and run it at 1100+ mhzish with 5-5-5-15 timing.
or should i try going lower the timing with 4-4-4-12 @ 800mhz?
haven't tried messing with 3-4-4-12 or any lower timing.

before i do anything i just want tohear from those of you who has experience with 780i board with corsair dominators and hear what you guys would use for reference point.

or if you can share your setup, that'll be even great!

my setup is on my sig. 2x2gb and 2x1gb of corsair dominator pc2-8500 (ddr 2)on xfx 780i.

Didn't you just post this same question an hour ago?

To answer your question, my old system was a Q6700, Evga 780i and 4x1GB dominators and I ran them @5-5-5-15 @ 1000MHz because of my overclock.

yea i asked the same question in another post that i posted up for another issue i had but never got answered about this.

so considering i overclocked my q6600 to 3.2, i should have it set at 5-5-5-15?
default mhz for corsair dominator is 1066mhz and i was considering it to set at 1100mhz, why did u set at only 1000mhz?

Because my overclock wouldn't allow me to go any higher without loosing stability.

strange... was it on 780i board or something else?
because i can run it 5-5-5-15 @ 533mhz stock which really means 1066mhz. that's even without any overclocking. but i was suggested to just lower mhz and run it 4-4-4-12 @ 800mhz but i really don't know which will benefit me better...
