I dont feel bad at all. Socket 1366 rig can be built for cheaper than SB.
Also, my 970 pulls 55k and thats without crazy volts. I still haven't tried to max out this cpu on safe voltages.
Used i7 920 D0 $200 (have seen some for 180)
Used X58 mobo $100-$180
SB you are looking at a $300 cpu and a $200+ mobo.
$380 vs $500?

Thats a hard one. I haven't run the numbers in awhile, but I'd personally run 2 i7 rigs vs a sr-2 due to cost. But if I had the money, I'd love an sr-2. Running two 920 rigs would still net less PPD tho. As for SB, I'm waiting til we get some true numbers from people on here. These review chips could be golden chips or just regular ones.. we wont know til launch.Edited by SniperXX - 1/3/11 at 5:46pm
