OK, what exactly did you do. I can see the new monitor, and it looks like you just got a new "er" pc. Is that a different case you put your components in. Maybe time to break out the dremel and do some serious case mods. Make it look like anything but domestic.

Old school, lol. I don't blame you for keeping the 4:3 monitors with your XP OS. Wish I still had a 4:3 monitor for some things. My old 4:3 monitor was 1024x768, I thought it was awesome at the time.

Well, I bought the LCD for £65 its 17" with a max res of 1680x1050.
I bought the case for £45, bought a new DVD+RW drive for £16, but now I have a little problem of the DVD+RW drive getting jammed in the opening drive thingy

You bought that case for £45. You could have done much better for that price.
