Id get an 800D and FIND a way to get those GPUs some more air intake...

Also id suggest making sure that you get GPUs that exhaust the air out the back of the case instead of having open fans moving the air around internally.

I've got two EVGA GTX 470's in SLI each running a GPU3 client at the moment. Room ambient is about 20C and I've got temps of 70/68. Fan speed at 75%.

Edit: Looked at your sig rather than what you wrote so your's will be warmer due to three of them being squeezed in right next to one another, but I'd still like to see biggrin.gif.

I only have 2x GTX470 in there atm (if you recall my previous post in another thread, they were just too loud biggrin.gif ). Anyway, I have them spread apart with one PCIe slot in between. Temps are 46/42 (ambient is 19c) and fan speed is at 40%. These are idel temps since I'm not folding or anything. redface.gif

This is from HAF X and 800D owner.. HAF X would win at anytime over 800D in the case of air stock cooling...
Trust me... HDD, GPU, anything except CPU where both performs equal....

Love my 800D, though as you can see in my sig, I added rads in a TJ-07 configuration in the bottom so cooling isn't an issue. I'd say the ease of working in the 800D combined with it's (obviously subjective) good looks, makes it a no-brainer. Though of course the disclaimer is that it's a bit worse for aircooling stock, though you can do any number of mods to improve it's AC performance.

I have the HAF-X right now, and I don't like it. I don't like the interior coating, I don't like the extras that come with it or anything. I have a 700D coming in the mail right now, can't wait to set my loop up in it.

I, too, have worked extensively with both. I prefer the HAF X. I went into playing with both with the preconceived notion that I would like the 800D more. I was wrong.

I tough of trying to make some moding to the 800D to get air to the GPU's
do you have any suggestions ?
but then I think I will have problems with placing the pump (CMP35X) I will try try to fined some bay pump res combo that have better pump then the MCP35X ? confused.gif

Ah kk. Turned my clients off and I'm sitting at about 40/36 with the cards sitting at idle.

Edit: Should note that I swapped all my 200mm stock fans out for Megaflows which push a lot more CFM.

My 800D has almost no ariflow, the glass on my window gets warm from my two 460's inside. However you can easily add some fans, etc since the case is cavernous.....

But my brother's haf-x has enough room for a CPU WC set up and maintains a good amount of case flow.
