Increasing RAID 0 boot partition

Thread Starter
I'm sure this has been covered in previous threads, if so, I apologize.

I have 4 WD Blues (WD3200AAKS 320GB) in a RAID 0 from my motherboard (ASUS P6T Deluxe). They are short-stroked for 37.5gb on each drive... giving a total of 150gb for the raid.

Would it be possible to use some partition tools in Hiren's Boot CD to extend it? I'm just unsure about it due to the short-stroking in the mobo raid config.

I'm pretty sure I'll have to re-install windows, but I wanted your thoughts on this. Thanks.

If its possible to do it in place then you need to use intels raid utility. I believe this is the correct download:
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Deta...=2101&lang=eng
Look through there to see if there is an option to expand a current raid partition. If not then you will most likely have to delete and re-create the raid. In that case make sure to backup all your data beforehand.

I just confirmed that the option does exist. After installing open the utility and click the volume you want to expand on the right hand pane. Then on the left hand side there should be an option which says "expand."

Oh, for future reference you can just save your steamapps folder on another drive and then copy it into a new installation of steam. All your games should then show up as downloaded.
